Samsung products, specifically ones with Ativ branding, tend to leak out just moments before big events. We’ve saw it a lot at IFA last year and now, as the company gears up to re-announce some Galaxy devices at a London event tonight, a device named Ativ Book Q has popped out through Notebook Italia. It appears to be a convertible Windows 8 touch Ultrabook thing with a 13.3″ 2560 x 1440 display powered by a Haswell Intel Core i5 chip (specifically i5-4200U), 4GB RAM and a 128GB SSD. It’s also set to cost €1500 and it should only be a matter of hours until Samsung waves this about on stage themselves. For now, take a peek at the source link for more images.
Update: Seconds after posting this, Slashgear pointed me back to Notebook Italia and leaked information about the Ativ Book 9 Lite and Ativ Book 9 Plus. Both are 13.3″ touch Ultrabooks, like the Q, but have more conventional form factors and, I presume, lower price tags. The Ativ Book 9 Lite, pictured below, also swaps out the Haswell i5 for an AMD A6 APU and has what looks like a white plastic body. Again, there are more images to be found at the source link, and our liveblog will be up and running very soon to bring you all the latest news from Samsung.
