In an invite sent to the press and posted on its Conversations blog today, Nokia has teased an official announcement of its latest flagship smartphone at an event in New York on July 11th. The post promises ’41 million reasons to zoom in’, which is an obvious reference to the company’s 41MP PureView sensor, and it is expected that this will be found in a new Lumia device, codenamed EOS, for the first time following its debut on the Symbian-powered 808 last year. We’ll be liveblogging the show as always, but numerous leaks from Twitter’s @Vizileaks combined with the promises of even more to come suggest that not too much more will be a mystery by the time Nokia takes the stage.
